Senior Solutions Engineer – Simulation for AI-Centric AV stacks
About The Position
We are looking for a senior engineer with direct, hands-on experience in designing and building simulation solutions for training and testing AI models for AV stacks at scale, particularly stacks trained end to end. In this role, you will work closely with customers, product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to define and develop product capabilities and custom solutions that address the simulation needs of AI-driven AV development and validation.
You will:
● Work directly with customers developing AI-centric AV stacks to understand and solve their simulation needs.
● Interface with simulation vendors to evaluate, integrate, and troubleshoot their sensor simulation capabilities as part of Foretellix products and customer solutions.
● Lead the integration of sensor simulation technologies into Foretellix’s AV stack development and validation solutions.
● Contribute to defining product requirements and technical workflows that support training and validating AV stacks through simulation as well as generating and managing synthetic data sets.
● Collaborate with engineering, product managers, and AI researchers to align product capabilities with customer needs.
● Support sales and application engineers in technical engagements and proof-of-concept demonstrations.

Requirements
● Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying simulation solutions and workflows for training and testing AI models for AV stacks, with a preference for AV stacks trained end to end.
● Experience generating, analyzing, and using synthetic sensor data, including camera, lidar, and radar, for training and testing AI models for AV stacks at scale.
● Strong understanding of the primary sensor types used by AV stacks including their configuration, placement, outputs, limitations, failure modes, and overall role in the AV stack.
● Experience working on simulation workflows for real-world AV stacks, preferably at an AV company employing sensor simulation as core part of the solution.
● Experience with solutions for collecting, visualizing, analyzing, and managing large, continuously growing synthetic data sets for training and validating AI models.
● Technical background in sensor simulation for AI/ML.
● Ability to translate technical insights into product requirements and effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
● MSc or above in Computer Science, Simulation, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
