Senior Software Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled senior software engineer to join our team and work on developing LogIQ, a product used to verify Autonomous Vehicles and Driver Assistance features. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, with a focus on data analysis and processing. In this position you will work closely with other developers, field application engineers, and other stakeholders to design and implement new features, improve existing functionality, and ensure the quality and scalability of the software.
Job functions:
- Be part of a small but growing team developing LogIQ, a product that analyzes vehicle behavior (drive recordings) to ensure quality and safety. Play a major role in shaping the product, using a data-driven approach.
- Develop novel algorithms for object tracking, data fusion and noise reduction. Writing code, debugging, testing and simulation, using Python, C++ and domain-specific languages under Linux.
- Optimize software performance, scalability and reliability.
- Interact with other team-members, field application engineers and customers to gather requirements, understand issues and ensure the software meets customer expectations.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, provide technical leadership.
- Stay up-to-date with technology and tools. Learn new domains, tools and languages.
Requirements
- BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science or related fields.
- 5+ years of work experience in relevant fields
- Prior experience in algorithm development in the fields of object tracking, data fusion, noise reduction or similar.
- Working knowledge of C++, Python.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good communication.
- Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently and in a team
- English speaking, reading and writing required
